A support role — but the days won't always stay in their lane
We want to be straightforward about the shape of this job. Most days, the core of it is sterilization, instrument processing, and turning rooms over between patients, plus light chairside — setting up trays, passing instruments, keeping a case moving.
But we're a small team, and small teams don't get to be rigid. When someone is out sick or on vacation, everybody steps up a level — and sometimes that will be you. You might end up assisting on a longer case or covering something well outside your usual day.
We don't expect you to already know how to do all of that. We expect you to be willing to be thrown in, ask questions, and pick it up on the spot. Nobody here will leave you standing alone in a room wondering what to do. If that sounds interesting rather than terrifying, you'll do fine.
You'd support the whole practice — general dentistry, implants, and oral surgery alike — wherever the schedule needs you most that day.
A Typical Day
What you'd actually be doing
- Sterilization and instrument processing — running the autoclave, keeping cassettes cycling so nothing holds up a room
- Setting up and breaking down operatories, and turning rooms over between patients
- Light chairside — tray setup, passing instruments, suction — including implant and oral surgery cases
- Stocking rooms and keeping an eye on what's running low before it runs out
- Helping wherever the schedule is tightest that day
- Stepping up to fuller assisting when someone on the team is out
What We're Looking For

The essentials
- Some experience in a dental office — chairside, sterilization, or both
- Comfortable with sterilization and infection-control protocol
- Steady around surgical procedures — blood and extractions are part of a normal day here
- Reliable on a 2–3 day schedule that can shift week to week
Nice to have
- Oral surgery or implant assisting exposure
- Certified or registered dental assistant
- Radiography certification
- Experience running a sterilization center on your own

Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
