Your Best Skin —
Powered by Your Own Biology

PRP microneedling harnesses your body's own growth factors to rejuvenate skin, stimulate hair regrowth, and soften scars — all in a medical surgical setting with clinical oversight.

What Is PRP Microneedling?

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma — a concentrated solution derived from your own blood. A small sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors like PDGF, TGF, and VEGF that your body naturally uses for healing and tissue regeneration.

This concentrated plasma is then applied to the skin through microneedling — a device that creates thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin's surface. These channels serve a dual purpose: they trigger your body's natural wound-healing response (boosting collagen and elastin production), and they allow the PRP to penetrate deep into the tissue where it can amplify that regenerative process.

The result is a treatment that works with your biology, not against it. No synthetic fillers, no foreign substances — just your own growth factors, concentrated and delivered precisely where they're needed.

How It Works

  1. Blood Draw A small sample is drawn from your arm — similar to a routine lab draw.
  2. Centrifuge Separation Your blood is spun in a medical-grade centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma from other blood components.
  3. Skin Preparation A topical numbing cream is applied to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment.
  4. Microneedling + PRP Application The PRP is applied to the treatment area while the microneedling device creates micro-channels, driving the growth factors deep into the skin.
  5. Healing Response Over the following weeks, your body produces new collagen and elastin as part of its natural repair process.

This Is Not a Spa Treatment

PRP involves drawing blood, processing biological material, and delivering it into your skin. That's a medical procedure — and it should be performed in a medical environment. At Bublik Dental, your treatment takes place in a fully equipped surgical center under the supervision of Dr. Jan Bublik.

Sterile Surgical Environment

Our office follows the same sterilization and infection control protocols used for oral surgery. Your blood is processed in FDA-approved tubes and handled with clinical-grade equipment — not consumer devices.

Physician Oversight

Every PRP treatment is performed under the direct supervision of Dr. Bublik. Your health history is reviewed, contraindications are screened (blood thinners, platelet disorders, active infections), and treatment is tailored to your needs.

Proper Patient Screening

Not everyone is a candidate for PRP. We screen for conditions that could affect results or safety — including anemia, immunocompromise, and certain medications. A spa may not have the clinical knowledge to evaluate these factors.

What PRP Can Treat

Three areas where your body's own growth factors can make a measurable difference.

Skin Rejuvenation

Anti-Aging

PRP microneedling stimulates your skin's own collagen and elastin production, improving texture, tone, and firmness from within.

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Improve skin texture and pore size
  • Restore a natural, healthy glow
  • Boost collagen density over time

Clinical studies show improvements in texture and collagen density after a series of 3 monthly treatments.

Hair Regrowth

Thinning Hair

PRP injections deliver concentrated growth factors directly to hair follicles, stimulating dormant follicles and supporting healthier, thicker growth.

  • Stimulate dormant hair follicles
  • Slow progressive thinning
  • Increase hair density and caliber
  • Support regrowth in early-stage hair loss

Research shows a 70–80% response rate in early to moderate hair loss. Typically 3 initial monthly sessions followed by maintenance treatments.

Scar Treatment

Consultation Required

PRP combined with microneedling can help remodel scar tissue by stimulating collagen reorganization in and around the scar.

  • Soften acne scars
  • Improve appearance of surgical scars
  • Promote more organized collagen formation
  • Improve skin texture in scarred areas

Scar response varies significantly by type and age. A consultation is needed to determine whether PRP is appropriate for your situation.

Leah, Aesthetics Provider at Bublik Dental

Meet Leah

Trained Aesthetics Provider · Dental Assistant

Leah is a dental assistant at Bublik Dental who brings genuine care and precision to every patient interaction. Her training in PRP microneedling combines the clinical rigor of a surgical office with an eye for aesthetics — she understands both the science behind the treatment and the results patients are looking for.

All of Leah's PRP treatments are performed under the direct supervision of Dr. Jan Bublik, ensuring that every procedure meets the same clinical standards as our surgical services.

Leah is committed to staying at the forefront of regenerative aesthetics. She approaches each patient with honesty about what PRP can and cannot do, and takes the time to make sure you're comfortable and informed before treatment begins.

Advanced PRF Training — June 2026 Leah is completing advanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) certification through PRF.edu, learning next-generation techniques developed by the inventor of PRF, Dr. Joseph Choukroun.

What to Expect

From consultation to results, here is what a typical PRP microneedling experience looks like at our office.

1

Consultation

We review your goals, health history, and determine whether PRP is right for you.

2

Treatment Day

Blood draw, centrifuge processing, numbing, and PRP application — about 60–90 minutes total.

3

Recovery

Mild redness for 24–48 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the next day.

4

Results

Improvements build gradually over weeks as collagen production increases. Best results after a full series.

How Many Sessions?

Most patients benefit from a series of 3 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart. For hair regrowth, additional maintenance sessions every 3–6 months help sustain results. Your specific plan will be determined during your consultation.

Is There Downtime?

Minimal. You can expect:

  • Mild redness and warmth (similar to a sunburn) for 24–48 hours
  • Slight swelling in some patients
  • No bandaging or wound care needed
  • Avoid direct sun and heavy exercise for 24 hours

The Next Generation: PRF

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is considered the evolution beyond PRP. While PRP isolates platelets, PRF preserves a natural fibrin matrix that contains a higher concentration of platelets, white blood cells, and stem cells — and releases growth factors slowly over 10–14 days rather than all at once.

Leah is completing her Advanced PRF certification through PRF.edu in June 2026, training under Dr. Joseph Choukroun (the inventor of PRF) and researcher Dr. Richard Miron. This training covers injectable PRF techniques, Bio-Heat protocols, and the latest evidence-based applications for facial rejuvenation.

We'll be expanding our regenerative aesthetics program with PRF capabilities later this year. Ask us about it at your consultation.
