Dr. Jan Bublik didn't end up in Wausau by accident. After earning both a medical degree and a dental degree from Palacky University in the Czech Republic, completing an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at University Hospital Olomouc, and finishing an Advanced General Dentistry residency at the prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester, he could have practiced anywhere. He chose North Central Wisconsin.

For more than three decades, Dr. Bublik has been refining his craft and deepening his roots in this community. What began as a broad general dental practice evolved into a focused surgical specialty: implantology, bone grafting, dentoalveolar surgery, TMJ and orofacial pain management, dental sleep medicine, and orthodontics. That pivot wasn't driven by trends — it was driven by his patients. He saw what they needed most and rebuilt his practice around delivering it at the highest level.

With over 11,000 implants placed, a Diplomate designation from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Handelman Award for Excellence in Dentistry, and ongoing doctoral research in implantology, Dr. Bublik brings a depth of surgical expertise that rivals any metropolitan center. He works alongside Sam Bloch, RDH and myofunctional therapist, to deliver integrated care for TMJ disorders and dental sleep medicine.

His philosophy is straightforward: the people of Wausau and the surrounding communities deserve the same caliber of care found in any major city. He's spent his career making sure they get it.
