Gum Grafts —
Restore Your Gumline
Cover exposed roots, eliminate sensitivity, and protect your teeth from further recession with a precise, comfortable gum graft.
Book a ConsultationGum recession exposes tooth roots — leaving teeth sensitive, vulnerable to decay, and at risk of loss over time. A gum graft transplants healthy tissue from the patient's palate or a donor source to the affected gumline, restoring coverage and protection.
Dr. Bublik uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from your own blood to accelerate healing — reducing recovery time and improving the body's natural repair response.
- Eliminates hot/cold sensitivity from exposed roots
- Protects roots from decay and further recession
- Restores natural gumline appearance
- Supports long-term implant success
- PRP therapy for faster, better healing
Recovery
Most patients heal within 1–2 weeks. Minor discomfort is manageable with over-the-counter medication. You'll follow a soft-food diet during the initial healing period.
Anesthesia
Local anesthetic is standard. Sedation options are available for anxious patients or more extensive procedures.
Technology
CBCT imaging and soft-tissue laser for precise planning and treatment — less tissue trauma, faster recovery.
Gum grafts are most effective when performed before recession becomes severe. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Bublik to assess your gumline and discuss your options.
